Opened in June 2007, this brand new case-ready Customer Service Center is located in Caldwell County (about 70 miles northwest of Charlotte in North Carolina). The facility will be resourced with state-of-the-art global technology and a custom-trained dedicated staff to supply a full fresh meats case-ready program to 109 Lowes Foods outlets in North and South Carolina and Virginia. Lowes Foods is the food retail banner of Alex Lee Inc.  As well, the facility will supply Institution Food House Inc. (IFH), the foodservice banner of Alex Lee Inc., and MDI, the wholesale distribution arm of Alex Lee Inc.

A USDA inspected facility, Vantage Foods’ flagship US Customer Service Center:

• Employs 180 case-ready professionals (recruited locally)
• Features best-in-class food processing and packaging equipment and technology
• Adheres to, and surpasses superior food safety protocols in a USDA HACCP certified facility
• Operates a fully equipped on-site food science laboratory
• Houses sophisticated cold chain managed shipping and distribution infrastructure

During construction of this Customer Service Center, local service providers were proactively contracted.
